Honoring the ‘Cradle of Poets’
Newark, N.J., photographer Eric Livsey, took this photo of the parade queens on a float during the city's 49th Annual Puerto Rican Statewide Heritage Parade and Festival in September. This year's parade honored the town of Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, commonly known as "La Cuna de las Poetas," or "The Cradle of Poets." Toa Alta Mayor Luis Collazzo Rivera, and more than 300 of his fellow citizens marched in the parade.
