The Zahn R230 and R300 two-wheel-drive compact trenchers are available with a heavy-duty track option. The tracks boost the machines’ traction, especially on uneven and rough terrain. With the tracks, the Zahn trenchers can travel across trenches, which can be an advantage when installing irrigation systems. The tracks “walk” or oscillate 12 degrees, which helps provide improved traction when loading, unloading and maneuvering over curbs or other rough and uneven terrain. The tracks’ high-flotation design helps minimize surface damage to turf, sensitive landscapes and established lawns.
