Versatile horizontal grinder
The multi-purpose Dynamic 5240 grinder will produce up to 200 cubic yards per hour from infeed materials up to 18 inches in diameter. At full production, the grinder requires 12 to 14 gallons of fuel per hour, and can process a variety of materials, including biomass in the woods, slab wood at the sawmill, tree debris from storm cleanup and site clearing projects, and wood scrap from demolition sites. The infeed hopper has a loading capacity of 54 inches by 16 feet, and the 36-inch-wide belt has a standard discharge height of 15 feet. Processed material is sized through a selection of 1.5- to 5-inch screens. The unit is suitable for biomass, recycling, park and forestry applications.
