Different vehicles, same racetrack
Philip Kleisler, administrative assistant in the Asheville, N.C., City Manager’s Office, took this photo of two bicyclists racing at Asheville's Carrier Park. The track was previously used for stockcar racing before being purchased by a local conservation group and given to the city to restore.

Today, the old car race track has been converted to a bicycle track with a park — including a playground and volleyball, basketball and street hockey courts — in the middle.
