UPPCC new certifications
The Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC) announces that 207 individuals successfully completed the spring 2010 UPPCC certification examinations administered May 3-8, 2010. The Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) credentials are recognized throughout the public procurement profession as demonstration of an individual’s comprehensive knowledge of public procurement. Of the 207 newly certified individuals, 144 earned the CPPB certification and 63 earned the CPPO certification. This newest group of professionals brings the total number certified for CPPB and CPPO to 8,357 and 1,891 respectively. The next examinations for both CPPO and CPPB are scheduled for Oct. 18-30, 2010.
