The Washington-based Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Moving Cooler: An Analysis of Transportation Strategies for Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions studied
The Washington-based Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) “Moving Cooler: An Analysis of Transportation Strategies for Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions” studied the effectiveness of almost 50 types of emissions-reducing strategies and combinations of strategies and compared them to a baseline that projects greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from 2010 to 2050. It also studied the difference if the strategies are implemented more aggressively than they are currently — with “aggressive” effort — or as aggressively as possible — with “maximum effort.” The entire report is available at www.commerce.uli.org/misc/movingcooler.pdf.
