The SCP716 uses Vikuiti Super Close Projection, DLP, and BrilliantColor technologies to project the same size image from three-and-half feet that a conventional digital projector does from 10 feet, according to the company. The unit eliminates presenter “shadowing” and is ideal for use in smaller rooms. It comes with a folding wall mount with integrated speakers, and, when used with an optional Annotation Sensor Module and SCP I/O Module, it can turn a whiteboard into an interactive digital whiteboard and can connect multiple media devices to enhance the technology. The 3M SCP716 has a maximum brightness rating of 2400 lumens, a 5,000-hour lamp life, and multiple modular options. Install and set-up takes fewer than two hours.
