Carol Michel, community relations coordinator for Hillsborough County, Fla., took this picture of the county's fire rescue ladder truck undergoing maintenance at the county's Central Fleet headquarters. This is the newest of the county's two aerial ladder trucks, and, like the county's other fire trucks, it must go in for preventive maintenance four times a year.
