That would be Winfield, Pa., where somebody stole every single street sign in a 48-hour period beginning April 6, according to AP. The township, which is 25 miles north of Pittsburgh, has spent nearly $4,000 to replace the aluminum signs, which cost about $100 each. Township Supervisor Glenn Nagle said the signs were probably taken as a prank, but it is not funny for residents in need of emergency medical services or police, which could be delayed in their efforts to find a specific address. The state police are investigating the theft.
