PTI and Rutgers University form partnership
The Washington-based PTI and the SPAA at Rutgers University in Newark, N.J., are working together to help officials make better use of technology in government. PTI and SPAA will promote the development of next generation Web-based training and information systems, and will work toward achieving common strategic goals.
The alliance gives SPAA a presence in Washington, and allows PTI access to the National Center for Public Performance and the Rutgers E-Governance Institute. The organizations will publish joint publications and will offer a new series of webinars and seminars. “This is the best of both worlds of applied theory and practice that will better enable us to reach out to those who can best benefit from our new combined services and programs,” PTI Executive Director Alan Shark said in a statement.
