Irvine, Calif., and Anaheim Hills, Calif.-based Bomel Construction have received a Project of the Year Award from the Southern California chapter of the American Public Works Association.
Irvine, Calif., and Anaheim Hills, Calif.-based Bomel Construction have received a Project of the Year Award from the Southern California chapter of the Kansas City, Mo.-based American Public Works Association for the city’s new Irvine Station 1,500-space parking deck. The deck, located next to the busiest train station in Orange County, contains more than triple the previous number of parking spaces available at the station and was completed several weeks ahead of schedule. It serves more than 3,000 daily commuters.
