Compact equipment
Terex Construction has introduced a dedicated compact equipment line, distributed throughout North America. The line includes Terex-branded compact track loaders, featuring ASV-patented Posi-Track undercarriage technology. The line also includes a broad portfolio of offerings from Terex, including compact excavators, compact wheel loaders, site dumpers, tractor loader backhoes, light towers, telehandlers, power buggies and tandem asphalt rollers. Through Dec. 31, dealers that distribute ASV products only will continue to offer these machines under the ASV brand; effective Jan. 1, 2009, all current ASV products also will be branded “Terex” and will join the North American Terex compact equipment line.

Centrifugal pumps
Centrifugal pump Models RD-12 and RD-12Z provide an external flow adjustment feature via a 1-5-volt DC third-wire input, making overall systems more energy-efficient. The pumps are available in hose barb and threaded connections. The RD Series design is similar to a canned motor that operates via a 24-volt brushless DC motor with service life in excess of 25,000 hours. Classified as safety voltage (50 volts or under), RD pumps allow users to comply with international standards such as CSA, UL, CE and GS. Compact RD pumps have been designed to be cool, quiet and lightweight. The pumps boast sound levels as low as 40 dB.

Deck equipment haulers
Two new deckover equipment haulers transport construction, paving or landscaping equipment plus attachments and materials. The EH824-14 offers a GVWR of 14,000 pounds, enabling it to carry up to 9,500 pounds of equipment and materials. The EH824-16 offers a GVWR of 16,000 pounds. Both feature a 24-foot bed length (a 20-foot flat deck plus a 4-foot dovetail) and 101-inch deck width. The series offers a choice of standard ramps or available split landscape gates (which are spring-loaded) for easy loading of small backhoe-loaders, excavators, wheel loaders, skid steers, small pavers and other construction equipment and attachments.

Emergency lighting
The Intelli-Charge diagnostics platform now is a standard feature with the Fusion Series of architectural emergency lighting. The Intelli-Charge diagnostics platform continuously monitors all critical functions of the Fusion Series, and the optional self-testing feature satisfies the monthly periodic testing requirements in NFPA 101 and the IBC. The Fusion2 Series includes two 35-watt MR16 lamps combined with a patented reflector system, and provides all of the features of the original Fusion while offering a special design for drop-in installation into 2- by 2-foot suspended ceiling systems, allowing direct ceiling-tile replacement.

Concrete resurfacer
The Meadow-Patch T2 is a two-component concrete resurfacer for repairing damaged concrete slabs. The product will repair minor deterioration such as spalling or scaling. After mixing, the product becomes a creamy, easy-to-apply mixture that can be poured or sprayed onto the defective concrete area. After application, the product can be finished to a smooth, even surface. It dries to a light gray color, closely matching the original concrete appearance. The three easy application steps consist of cleaning and priming the surface to be repaired; mixing and applying the product; and then finishing the surface with a broom or trowel. After application, the product can be modified with color or used in stenciled overlays.

The RC-2375 ratcheting plastic pipe and tubing cutter enables fast, easy and accurate cutting of up to 2⅜-inch O.D. capacity.
