Rubber hoses

Rubber hoses now complement the manufacturer’s lines of extruded rubber seals and gaskets. The product line includes fuel line, heater hose, air conditioning hose and California Air Resources Board (CARB)-compliant hose for applications with low-permeable fuel-line requirements. The low-permeation hose is a suitable replacement for most standard SAE30R7 applications. The CARB Level II-approved fuel injection hose for extremely high temperatures is available for use in recreational vehicles and off-road and mass-transit vehicles.

Digital power clamp meter

Model 667C is an RMS three-phase digital power clamp meter measuring three-phase three-wire, three-phase four-wire and single-phase circuits to 600 volts at 1,000 amps with power measurements to 600 kilowatts. The meter features a 10,000-count, four-digit dual LCD that displays selected power measurement and stores up to 28 measurements in memory. It incorporates an RS232 interface with power monitoring software, is auto-ranging and reads out the total three-phase measurement via push-button. With a 2-inch jaw opening, the device can measure volts, amps, kilowatts, VA, VARs, kilowatt hours, power factor and frequency. The meter also comes with a hard plastic, cushion-sectioned carrying case.

On-car brake lathes

Two on-car brake lathes, Models OCL410 and OCL430MD, now ship with a new patent-pending reverse rotation feature. Reversing rotation is beneficial when servicing some vehicles with limited slip differentials, which produce excessive drag on the driveshaft, preventing normal lathe operation.
