The FirstLine wall-mounted maintenance bypass switch features “make-before-break” interlock technology. Tailored to meet the needs of most UPS installations, the switch provides a safe means of removing a UPS from the circuit while maintaining the connection between the load and the utility and not dropping critical loads. The interlock ensures that the switch is closed or opened in the proper sequence to avoid improper application of power to the system or to the load. With models available for 208- or 480-volt AC applications, the switch is an alternative to a complete power distribution system.
