Dauntless Class of deep vee work and patrol boats typically are used for coastal patrol/search and rescue as well as for hydrographic survey, crew/supply transport and pilot vessels. Fuel-efficient, seaworthy vessels deliver a fast, smooth ride. Range in length from 28 to 65 ft. State-of-the-art deep vees boast an approximate 20° deadrise aft, flared bow and lifting strakes. Maximum horsepower ranges from 600 in the smaller vessels to 1,700 in the largest vessel.
