URISA and IAAO seek abstracts for 13th Annual GIS/CAMA Technologies Conference
The Park Ridge, Ill.-based Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) and the Kansas City, Mo.-based International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) are calling for abstracts to be presented at the 13th Annual GIS/CAMA Technologies Conference, scheduled to be held in Charleston, S.C., on Feb. 8-11, 2009. All abstracts will be considered, but URISA and IAAO have specified three general program tracks for the conference: systems and data integration; valuation/CAMA modeling; and management issues and case studies.
A review committee of URISA and IAAO members will organize an educational program based on abstracts submitted before the Sept. 19 deadline. The annual conference is open to professionals in property assessment, tax administration and mapping and information technology. The theme for next year’s conference is “Technology to Revolutionize Your Valuations.”
