Laser mirrors boast thermal stability
LRO molybdenum CO2 laser mirrors achieve greater than 98.1% average reflectance at 10.6 microns at 45 AOI, with less than 1.9% absorption and scatter.
LRO molybdenum CO2 laser mirrors achieve greater than 98.1% average reflectance at 10.6 microns at 45° AOI, with less than 1.9% absorption and scatter. Manufactured from pure vacuum ARC cast low-carbon molybdenum, coating-free mirrors provide better thermal stability than coated silicon mirrors. Offered in 14 – to 1-in.-diameter sizes for low-power lasers and 1- to 3-in.-diameter sizes from 3 to 10 mm thick for high-power lasers. Ideal for engraving, marking, welding, cutting, drilling and other applications where frequent cleaning is necessary. Laser Research Optics, a div. of Meller Optics Inc., Providence, R.I.
