Ford Work Solutions is a collection of technologies manufactured for the company’s F-series trucks and commercial E-series vans. The collection includes an in-dash computer with high-speed Internet access and a navigation system. With a 6 ½” high-resolution touch screen, the system allows users to print invoices, check inventories and access documents that are stored on home or office computers. It has a 2-GB memory, and wireless keyboard and mouse. The collection also features a radio frequency identification system for maintaining a real-time inventory of tools and equipment stored in vehicles, alerting drivers if the inventoried tools have not been loaded on a truck. The company’s Crew Chief system monitors vehicle location so fleet managers can respond to calls and dispatch workers to job sites. It also monitors functions, such as tire pressure and check engine light codes, and calculates fuel mileage and taxes.

Vehicle lift

Rotary Lift

The MOD30 in-ground lift is designed for heavy-duty vehicles, such as trucks, fire engines, buses and construction equipment. With a 60,000-lb. to 90,000-lb. lift capacity, the unit can be equipped with the company’s X Pad frame contact adapter for picking up vehicles with independent front or rear suspensions, including cars and minivans. The X Pad, which features a 9,000-lb. lift capacity, is designed to use the same arms as light-duty in-ground lifts to reach pick-up points on cars, trucks and vans that are recommended by the manufacturer. The unit features an auto spotting system so workers do not have to crawl on the floor to position a moveable front piston. The unit’s galvanized shutter plate trench covers keep the pit covered by adjusting to the movement of the front piston.
