Urinal earns LEED credits for water-use reduction
Manual Royal High-Efficiency Urinal (HEU) needs only 16 ozs. of water to flush. HEUs, also known as fractional-flush urinals, provide effective, low-maintenance flushing in public restrooms while reducing water consumption up to 88%. System combines a vitreous china, washdown urinal fixture with either a manual or sensor-operated Flushometer body in chrome, satin chrome, polished brass, gold-plate or brushed-nickel finishes. The half-stall, wall-mount urinal features an integral trap and includes call hangers, inlet spud, outlet flange and rubber gasket. Available in manual or battery-powered and hard-wired, sensor-operated models. Contributes to LEED Credits 3.1 and 3.2 for water-use reduction. Sloan Valve Co., Franklin Park, Ill.
