The Oklahoma City National Memorial has created a Web site to help community leaders find information about disaster recovery. “A Network of Hope – A Resource to Help” includes a collection of best practices from others that have experienced large-scale disasters, including terrorist attacks (New York), hurricanes (Charleston, S.C.; Miami; New Orleans), earthquakes (Northridge, Calif.) and floods (Des Moines, Iowa). It also describes common roles and expectations of government leaders, the public, religious organizations and memorials after tragic events. Visit www.anetworkofhope.org to read updated information.
