Bobcat celebrates 50th anniversary with contest

West Fargo, N.D.-based Bobcat is seeking entries for its “How Bobcat Unleashed Me” contest, part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebration. The Bobcat customer that submits the best story on how the company’s compact construction equipment has improved their work performance will win a $75,000 Bobcat gift certificate.

Entries will be judged on creativity, quality, completeness and originality as well as supporting documents. Weekly winners will be posted on the contest Web site, www.bobcat.com/50, and the grand-prize winner will be selected from among them. Five second-prize winners will receive $1,000 Bobcat gift certificates, 10 third-prize winners will receive a Bobcat jacket, and 50 monthly winners will receive the limited version of “Bobcat: 50 Years of Opportunity, 1958-2008.” Weekly winners also receive Bobcat 50th Anniversary hats.

The contest ends May 30.
