Nautical Norfolk
Edwin Rosenberg, manager of the Norfolk, Va., Environmental Services Bureau in the Department of Planning & Community Development, took this panoramic photo in September of Nauticus, the National Maritime Center in Norfolk. Nearby are the USS Wisconsin and the city’s new cruise ship terminal. The Battleship Wisconsin is one of the largest and last battleships ever built by the U.S. Navy, and it earned five battle stars during World War II.
