Articulating mowers boast wide cutting capacities
Lastec 80-series and 100-series Articulator rotary zero-turn-radius mowers are designed for high production in extreme contours and feature four or five 21-in. articulating decks that follow the shape of the ground to deliver a precise cut. Both models feature gas- and diesel-engine options up to 36 hp and have a side reach of more than 20 ins. to reach under obstacles or allow operators to trim closer to ponds, banks or ditches. Outside wing decks fold hydraulically from driver’s seat to facilitate transportation and access narrow passage areas. The 80 series delivers an 80-in.-wide cut with 21-in. deck accuracy, while 100 series delivers 100-in.-wide cut with 21-in. deck accuracy. All 2008 Lastec models feature deck pivots with 5-year warranties and are constructed of heavy-duty frame materials, larger-capacity drives and rugged components. Lastec, Lizton, Ind.
