Water, water everywhere
Atlanta has renewed its contract with locally based KHAFRA Engineering Consultants and Broomfield, Colo.-based MWH to manage the city’s Clean Water Atlanta capital improvement program.
The Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department has contracted with San Francisco-based URS to design upgrades, expansion, renewal and replacement projects for the city and county’s water treatment plant and throughout the system.

Clearwater, Fla., has purchased five hydrodynamic separator units from Portland, Maine-based Hydro International.
Bend, Ore., has contracted with Denver-based CH2M HILL OMI for consultations on upgrading part of the city’s wastewater collection system.
