Disinfectant kills MRSA ‘superbug’
New data suggests that methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), an antibiotic-resistant “superbug” that recently has been discovered in schools across the country, each year kills more people than AIDS. Spray Nine is an EPA-registered disinfectant that kills the MRSA bacteria in 45 seconds. Spray Nine disinfects hard, non-porous surfaces by killing 99.999999% of germs. According to the manufacturer, the disinfectant kills a number of other viruses, bacteria and fungi, including the Norwalk virus, herpes simplex I and II, hepatitis B and C viruses, avian flu, salmonella enterica and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Also helps control mold and mildew, helps prevent cross-contamination and destroys bacterial odors. Spray Nine Corp., Johnstown, N.Y.
