The Sandy Springs, Ga., Police Department has purchased records management and mobile computing software from Wayne, Pa.-based SunGard HTE. The Miami Gardens, Fla., Police Department also has purchased records management, crime analysis, computer-aided dispatch and mobile field reporting software from the company.
Clark County, Nev.; Bellevue, Wash.; Charlotte, N.C.; Fort Worth, Texas; and the West Metro Fire Rescue District in Lakewood, Colo., have purchased computer-aided dispatch software from San Diego-based TRITECH and Golden, Colo.-based Locution Systems.
The Jacksonville, Fla., Sheriff’s Office has purchased electronic stun guns from Scottsdale, Ariz.-based TASER International. The Cleveland Division of Police; the Louisiana State Police; the Knox County, Tenn., Sheriff’s Office; and the San Jose, Calif., Police Department also have purchased stun guns from the company.
The Tempe, Ariz., Fire Department has purchased daily planning and emergency mitigation software from locally based ESS for use in the city’s emergency operations center.
