Built exclusively for the military, the High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE) boasts a Cummins 6.7-liter, QSB 02, six-cylinder engine for traveling speeds up to 55 mph on the road; ZF Ergo-power truck-type transmission that gives full-power gear shifts without loss of speed or momentum; suspension system for dual on/off highway use; and ABS braking and steering system that complies with highway regulations for speed under all conditions. Backhoe loader lifts more than 4,400 lbs. and digs to depths up to 13 ft. Also features 40-in. wading depth for use with landing craft. Can be transported by Hercules C-130 aircraft.
