Station Monitors Weather Conditions in Real Time
WatchDog 2900ET Weather Station delivers real-time weather information directly from the field at distances up to 2 miles away. Select measurement intervals from 1 to 60 mins. Built-in data logger retains 183 days of data, recorded at 30-min. intervals. Data communication (options include wireless, direct connection, cellular, and more) uses 9,600-baud speed in open-text-based protocol. Accessible to multiple PC users, and downloading data does not erase it from the weather station. Enhanced LCD readout allows viewing of current conditions, degree-day values, daily high/low readings, and confirms sensor performance, without the use of a PC. Sensor alarms can be set to warn of deviations from defined band of normal high/low values. Twelve-month battery power source (4 AA alkaline batteries included) eliminates need for solar panels.
