Workshops offered for PSIC grant recipients
The U.S. Department of Commerce National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is offering workshops on developing investment criteria for public safety agencies that will receive Public Safety Interoperable Communications (PSIC) grants. The nearly $1 billion in grants, which fund programs that improve interagency communication, will be awarded Sept. 30.
NTIA has scheduled four regional workshops: Sept. 24 in Dallas; Sept. 26 in Denver; Sept. 28 in Newark, N.J.; and Oct. 1 in Los Angeles. Agencies that will be required to submit investment justifications for the PSIC grants are invited to attend.
