Salute WSP is a dry, water-soluble turfgrass conditioner that is designed to reduce wear, enhance ball roll and aid cutting. Manufactured with potassium silicate, the conditioner also stimulates root growth through an increased uptake in water and nutrients. It is compatible with most pesticides, fertilizers and micronutrients, and is available in half-pound water-soluble packages.

Bird repellent

Bird-B-Gone

The Repeller is a solar-powered bird deterrent that can be used to prevent large bird species from landing on various surfaces. The unit features adjustable rotating rods that are mounted on top of the unit and cover an area up to 5′ in diameter. The rods operate by turning constantly at 30 RPMs. The unit’s solar panel is used to power a brushless motor that also stores energy. It can be affixed on flat or angled surfaces.

Pipe lubricant

Blue Lube is a water-based lubricant for assembling gasket pipe. It is tasteless, odorless and can completely flush from a system during installation. The lubricant remains in a paste form at temperatures above 150° F and can be frozen and thawed multiple times. It can be used at 0° F and on wet pipes. The clear, non-toxic lubricant will not react to chlorine and is not receptive to bacteria. The lubricant is available in pints, one quart, 1-, 5- and 55-gal. drums.

Blue-White Industries

The Sonic-Pro series is a line of hybrid ultrasonic flowmeters that measure fluid flow using Doppler or transit time methods. The S3c features a 320 × 240 pixel backlit LCD display. The unit can store up to 30,000 events on the included 32 MB SD card. Users can access information and control functions — such as system configuration — remotely using RS-232, RS-485, USB or Ethernet connections.

Water treatment machine

Spectra Watermakers

The Solar Cube is a solar-powered water treatment machine that is manufactured for disaster relief operations. It can provide up to 3,500 gal. of drinking water each day from a variety of sources, including seawater, river water, creek water, well water and polluted fresh water. With the ability to operate 24 hours per day, the unit’s 24-V batteries are charged by solar panels and a wind-powered generator. Using an attached pump, water passes through a series of filters that remove large matter. A reverse osmosis membrane then removes bacteria, viruses, salts and other chemicals. The unit also cleans its own filters, and a portable water tester is included.

Flowmeter

Hawk Measurement

The Sultan Flow is an open-channel flowmeter that measures liquid materials in a variety of conditions, such as water treatment, sewage treatment and irrigation. By transmitting an acoustic wave signal from the transducer to the monitored liquid, the unit measures head, flow rate, flow volume and rate totalization. It also features continuous output, alarm relays, failsafe relays and serial data. The unit is available in 2-wire loop, 3-wire DC or 4-wire AC/DC models. Additional features include tracking and recovery schedules and standard temperature compensation.

Pipe cement

Weld-On 2737 Hot ‘N Fast is a low-VOC PVC plastic pipe cement that is manufactured for irrigation pipe installation and pressurization. The cement has a blue color when it is applied but turns clear in the sunlight. It also provides coverage on pipe fittings and can be used in wet and dry conditions.

Crossing panel system

Transpo

The Bodan crossing panel system is constructed of polymer concrete and is manufactured for highway and railroad intersections. With a strength of more than 14,000 lbs. per sq. in., the system transfers vehicle axle loads directly to the rails of the track. Modular panels are not permanently attached to cross ties, which is intended to eliminate stress on the crossing surface and provide access for track maintenance. The panels are road salt- and diesel fuel-resistant and feature a skid-resistant surface.

Reflective signs

Britesides are reflective panels designed to complement sign posts. The panels use reflective sheeting material applied to extruded panels and color strips to match the sign. The company also offers reflective top and bottom hydrant collars, which can be installed under the cap and nose connection.

Single-drum rollers

Bomag

The BW213-40 line of single-drum vibratory rollers are manufactured for highway construction and maintenance, airports, streets and subdivisions, parking lots and landfills. The line includes the BW213D-40 and BW213DH-40 drum rollers, which are manufactured for granular and mixed soil compaction, and the BW213PDH-40 padfoot roller for cohesive and semi-cohesive soils. The BW213D-40 is powered by a 133-hp Duetz water-cooled engine, and a 160-hp Cummins diesel engine powers the BW213DH-40 and the BW213PDH-40. The line also features a vibration-isolated platform with an ergonomic steering wheel. An instrument panel alerts operators to problems, including engine oil pressure, and engine coolant temperature.

Uvex Ignite safety eyewear features a frameless design that allows users to see 180-degrees without obstruction. The eyewear fits close to the user’s face and has a wrap-around unilens construction. It includes an adjustable saddle pad nosepiece and cushioned temple tips. The eyewear is available with hardcoat or anti-fog coatings for use indoors or outdoors, and comes in a variety of lens tints, including clear, gray and silver mirror. It provides UV protection and comes in two colors: hot metallic red with silver accents and gloss black with silver accents.

The xmLABOR v. 7.0 tracks all labor hours, such as daily work, vacation, sick, jury duty and holidays. It also tracks the time to complete scheduled tasks. Users enter and submit time information, and supervisors can add labor and update a work order during the same transaction. A variety of reports and graphs are available, including pending and posted transactions, time cards and completed work orders. Filters allow the user to create specific reports.

Data destruction

The Data Shredder is a downloadable Windows application that eliminates information from a computer before its disposal and prevents that data from being retrieved. The program provides a variety of destruction techniques to accommodate a range of security levels. Additional features include a low-level hard drive format and customized wipe methods. Generator monitoring system

Cummins Power Generation

The Power Command Watch 100 allows users to supervise and control generators and transfer switches from a laptop or desktop computer using the company’s network. The network can monitor up to two generator sets and up to four transfer switches, or be customized to monitor up to 10 devices. The system can be used in remote sites or locations with unreliable telephone lines. It also can replace staffed monitoring stations. The system identifies problems and provides e-mail notification to technicians.

The Genesis Series Profusion jacket less cable is a bundle of four shield cables that includes lock power, card reader, door contact and request for exit operations. It features a twist design to hold the individual cables together and allows operators to separate the cables for data or communication tasks. Removing the cable jacket is not required when installing the unit. Each individual cable is color-coded with sequential footage markings.
