Deadline near for Geospatial Technology Report survey submissions
Aug. 15 is the deadline for taking the Aurora, Colo.-based Geospatial Information & Technology Association’s (GITA) survey on the operation of geographic information systems (GIS) by infrastructure-based organizations around the world. The survey information will be used to compile the eighth annual Geospatial Technology Report.
The survey is available at www.gita.org. Information from past participants is still on file, so GITA will only have to update that information and add any new data. All information in the survey except for agency name, number of customers and start date of the agency’s GIS is confidential. The Geospatial Technology Report includes detailed information on the complexity, direction and completeness of GIS projects. Nearly 400 user organizations participated in last year’s survey.
