Audible Exit Sign With Recorded Alert Message Can Reduce Occupants’ Evacuation Time by up to 75 Percent
ExitPoint PF24V Directional Sounder with Voice Capability consists of an exit sign that, when triggered by the existing fire detection system, uses voice messaging to help building occupants find the nearest fire exit. A recorded alert message instructs evacuees to take action as they approach the device: “stairs up,” “stairs down,” “exit here,” and more. In between voice instructions, an integral audio amplifier produces pulsating broadband low, mid, and high sounds that individuals can hear and use to locate egress points, even if signs are obscured by smoke. Enables occupants caught in perilous situations to react quickly and confidently. Features 15 single and combination language choices, including English, English/Spanish, and English/French. Includes 5 field-selectable power settings. Optional disable feature can be used in conjunction with control module or heat sensor. Serves a wide range of building applications, including open areas, corridors, and stairs. Listed to UL 464 (indoor applications only), FM, MEA, and CSFM.
