A new award from Azusa, Calif.-based Rain Bird will recognize individuals and organizations that lead the way in landscape water conservation. Rain Bird is accepting nominations for The Intelligent Use of Water Award until Sept. 1.
An independent panel of experts will judge nominees on the innovation, leadership, ingenuity and commitment to landscape water efficiency shown by their projects. The winner will receive $10,000, a trip to the 2008 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif., and a chance to speak about their project during the company’s Intelligent Use of Water Summit in Pasadena.
