Corps of Engineers to hold June conference

“Engineering in an Increasingly Complex World: What does the Future Hold?” is the theme of this year’s U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Infrastructure Systems Conference. Scheduled for June 25 to 29 in Detroit, the conference will feature tracks on civil engineering and transportation, hydrology and water management, infrastructure security, and GIS.
Several USACE leaders will speak at the conference, including Lt. Gen. Robert VanAntwerp, President Bush’s nominee for Chief of Engineers. The registration fee is $500, with an additional $100 for registration after June 15. To register, go to www.usaceiscconf.org.
