ICMA seeks nominations for annual awards
The Washington-based International City/County Management Association (ICMA) is accepting nominations for its annual Professional and Program Excellence Awards. The awards recognize individual city and county administrators as well as creative local government programs.
The categories for the Professional Awards for individual administrators are Career Excellence, Career Development, Assistant Excellence in Leadership and an Academic Award. The categories for Program Excellence Awards are Community Health and Safety, Community Partnership, Community Sustainability and Strategic Leadership and Governance. A 17-member panel of U.S. and International ICMA members will judge the entries. The deadline for nominations is March 12. Entry forms are available at www.icma.org.
