A Georgia Superior Court judge has ruled that the state’s voter photo ID law is unconstitutional and disenfranchises some voters. Fulton County Judge T. Jackson Bedford, Jr., says in his ruling that it is unfair to burden the voter with a requirement to show a photo ID at the polls in order to vote, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The issue is expected to go before the state’s Supreme Court before the Nov. 7 elections.
