Residents of Buffalo, N.Y., would rather their city’s water utility focus on providing better service rather than catching people who steal water. Several people complain about extremely long hold times when they call with questions about their bills, but city officials say they are taking steps to improve, according to The Buffalo News. Those steps include adding phone lines and spacing out the billing periods so all the customers with questions will not call at the same time.
