Chicagoans are making longer commutes, according to new U.S. Census Bureau data, indicating that urban sprawl is continuing. The number of “extreme commuters” — people who spend more than 90 minutes getting to and from work — has doubled in at least one county in the city’s suburbs, according to the Chicago Tribune.
