The city manager of Beverly Hills wants to replace the city’s relatively new concrete sidewalks with granite pavers, saying the move would help Rodeo Drive compete with other upscale shopping districts. However, several Rodeo Drive merchants say they don’t like the Kenoran Sage granite pavers, comparing them to “something from a shower stall,” and don’t want to endure more construction, according to the Los Angeles Times.
