A long-awaited upgrade to New York’s bus shelters, newsstands and public toilets is now facing a court challenge. Last fall the city contracted with the small Spanish company Cemusa to provide the “street furniture” for the city, but two other companies that lost in the bidding process are saying the city showed favoritism and have filed suit, according to The New York Times.
