A dragonfly-eye view of the xeriscape
Jeff Tejral, senior xeriscape program specialist for the Aurora, Colo., Water Department, took this dragonfly’s portrait at the city’s Municipal Center Xeriscape Garden. The garden covers more than six acres and showcases the beauty of low-water landscapes. It is irrigated with water from the Sand Creek Wastewater Reclamation Plant. There are plans to expand the garden to accommodate concerts and art shows.
