Georgia’s July 18 primary elections will be the first test of the state’s new voter identification law. Voters will have to provide one of six acceptable forms of photo ID to cast their ballots, according to The Brunswick News.

Voters will have to provide one of six acceptable forms of photo ID to cast their ballots, according to The Brunswick News. Previously the law was challenged on the grounds that it would lead to discrimination against the poor, the elderly and minorities who are less likely to have some form of identification.
