Some Chicago commuters say the city’s new “Pink Line” rail line, which is scheduled to open on Sunday, will get them to work and home again faster, but others say the route is confusing and may make things worse. There’s also concern about how disabled riders will be able to transfer to the Red Line, according to the Chicago Tribune. The Chicago Transit Authority says the new line, the first since the city opened the Orange Line in 1993, will improve rail service to the West Side.
