June Contract: New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) has selected Hansen’s Transit
Hansen Information Technologies announced that the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) has selected Hansen’s Transit and Rail Business Unit to provide its Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software suite to help manage roadway maintenance and supporting infrastructure.
NJTA maintains the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway through separate operating departments of NJTA.
“One of our goals for the new system is to develop a framework for standardizing common business processes for both the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway,” says Stephen Ehrmann, NJTA Assistant Technology Director and Project Manager.
When completed, the new system will support the management of all work orders, inspections, time keeping, preventive and corrective maintenance, snow and ice removal, environmental accident containment and clean-up, and equipment damage tracking for all of NJTA’s facilities, including moving and linear assets.
