Los Angeles County emergency preparedness officials need another $30,000 to finish and print a brochure that will teach residents with special needs how to survive disasters. The county’s Office of Emergency Management only has enough money to print 5,000 copies of the brochure, but thousands more people will need the information, according to the Los Angeles Times. The county may need to turn to grants and corporate donations to cover the pamphlet’s costs.
