Modular skateparks sport interchangeable surfaces and various designs
Skatewave 3.0 allows skatepark planners to choose the surface for specific skating abilities, as well as change the surface to meet skaters ongoing needs for a fresh, new, challenging experience. Select from 3 surface options: TekTrak-coated steel, with a powder-coated finish that balances slipping and gripping power; RampX phenolic resin, made from post-consumer recycled materials; or top-of-the-line stainless steel. Each material uses surface-mounted fasteners to ease installation. Design configurations include skate spots, which meet basic needs of neighborhood riders, as well as tight budget and site requirements; classic layouts, with a range of traditional obstacles to challenge skaters; and BMX courses, with large and creative obstacles to please experienced skaters. To help communities select and install the ideal course, collaborative team provides expertise of skatepark designers, professional athletes, and a local representative.
