After five days of rain, officials say the floods are finally starting to subside around New England. But the flooding, the worst to hit the area in nearly 70 years, has left thousands of people displaced, according to the Providence Journal. In New Hampshire, more than 600 roads have been damaged, and a dam containing Pillsbury Lake has been breached. Damage is expected to be in the tens of millions of dollars in Massachusetts alone. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/N/NEW_ENGLAND_FLOODING?SITE=RIPRJ&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT
