America’s big cities are shrinking. According to U.S. Census Bureau numbers reported by USA Today, people are moving out of the nation’s largest cities to find cheaper housing and more space. The findings were released in a Census Bureau report that tracked “domestic immigration” from 1990 to 2000 and from 2000 to 2004. During the latter time period, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago experienced the largest exodus, while Florida, Arizona and Nevada gained the most new residents. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006-04-20-urbanflight_x.htm
