To lift leaves, rely on backpack blower
Armed with a tube nozzle, Model EB8510 delivers wind velocities up to 224 m.p.h., with maximum airflow of 762 c.f.m. Quickly blows wet, sticky leaves from large areas, including turf, wooden, or paved surfaces. High air volume keeps wet leaves moving to pick-up area for removal, without scratching or damaging surface. Runs on 4-hp. engine, which features a 2-valve, overhead cam design that reduces engine height. Low-profile size reduces snagging, especially when working in congested, brush-filled areas. Engine also reduces vibration to operator, curbs emission levels to meet strict California clean-air standards, and decreases noise. Generates 76.7 dB. in normal operation, plus offers hush mode of 65 dB. for noise-sensitive areas. Air tube and control handle adjust to fit operators of any size. To ensure user comfort, features include thick back pad, adjustable shoulder straps, and built-in carrying handle. Weighs 24 lbs., without tubes. Runs for 1 hr. on full, 2-liter tank of gas. Blower comes in 2 versions: standard model includes cable that mounts operating controls on the frame; Model RT features pistol-grip throttle handle, with cruise control, adjustable angle, and hush-mode button affixed to air tube.
