Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has issued an opinion stating that a state law requiring the State Board of Pharmacy to list on its Web site Canadian pharmacies where residents can buy prescription drugs for long-term ailments violated federal law.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has issued an opinion stating that a state law requiring the State Board of Pharmacy to list on its Web site Canadian pharmacies where residents can buy prescription drugs for long-term ailments violated federal law. According to the Austin American-Statesman, Abbott argued that under federal law, drugs imported into the United States first must be inspected by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
